Het forum met alles over Stand Up Paddle Surf, Sup Foil en Wing Foil
Hi guys,
I'm a French guy newly settled in Amsterdam. Fantastic city, with water everywhere... SUP heaven. The only issue is that I have nowhere to store a race board in my home, so this is very frustrating and I cannot bring my SUP board from France.
Do you have any knowledge of storage place available in Amsterdam ? Any of you facing the same issue, and found a way (kayak / rowing club where you can store with a yearly fee, etc..?).
If I find a solution, would be keen to meet up with racers and train together from time to time.
Thanks for your help!
Cheers
Simon

That is a big problem Simon. It will be hard or very expensive to find a storage. Maybe you could consider getting a inflatable 12'6 of 14'. This would solve your problem...... Not saying that the performance is comparable to your race sup but it's a choice between having a sup board available or not.
Thanks for your answer Patrick.
I don't really want to go inflatable for my race training... Will keep searching for the moment. Inflatable will be the last resort.

Maybe check some of the canoe clubs.
Or go to the coast in places like zandvoort (like Beachclub The Spot)
Thanks for the tip. I've already been to The Spot beachclub in Zandvoort, but their storage place is full for the season. I'll investigate the canoe clubs.
Haarlem has an active canoe club with Outrigger (OC6) and Sup enthousiasts.
Good to know, thanks Roel.
The Haalemse Kano vereniging got storrage space for Supers. A lot of them train and race as well
